I talked to Katie tonight, she was my best friend growing up ( and will always be my best friend). Talking to her was wonderful, we laughed so hard. It was so good for the heart..
This last weekend was our 20 year reunion, I missed it. It sounded like soooo much fun. I wish I had gone, but - it just didn't work out that way.

Dear Starbucks,
Why oh why are you shutting down the only 3 local Starbucks in this area ? Tampa has no other good coffee, unless you go to Dunkin Donuts. You also stated in your news release ,"In all, 59 Florida locations are targeted for closure starting this month and continuing into next year, the company said". Do you not think people who live in the Sunshine state need to drink coffee?
I mean, seriously. I brag about you to the natives here and you go and do this?

I think I need to slow down... enjoy what is around me... Take time to look up the clouds and just be.
Because this is Florida and because it rains so much - there are mosquito EVERYWHERE.

Reason 2356 why I really am never going to call this place home.
Unless it was for a job - why on earth would people voluntarily move here? I just don't understand.
On the plus side - We are getting out of here for vacation to see our families. It's so difficult not to have our families around us..

I am blessed to have an amazing sister in law - who lives 3000 miles away (sigh) however, we talk practically everyday. She's the best..
She probably won't like that I'm talking about her here but she'll get over it!
The wonderful part about our relationship is that we never take our friendship for granted and we value and hold our relationship close to our hearts.
